RefleXion Medical Case Study
RefleXion Medical is developing a novel radiation therapy device for cancer treatment. To validate our approach and core technology, we needed to run compute-intensive physics software simulation, which typically takes weeks to complete on standard server hardware. Since we didn't want to build significant internal hardware infrastructure, the cloud and its almost infinite resources on-demand seemed to be the perfect answer. Using CliQr we were able to get on the cloud quickly and move from cloud to cloud to get the best price-performance possible ... all without having to change our application or simulation programs in any way.

CliQr CloudCenter Overview
CliQr provides a complete cloud application management platform that enables businesses to efficiently move, manage, and secure any application from a physical, virtual or cloud environment to any private, public or hybrid cloud with no need to modify the application, or create cloud-specific scripts or VM images. On-board once and run anywhere; CliQr provides complete application portability with no need for further migration efforts. CliQr's portability and cloud benchmarking environment allows businesses to run simultaneous benchmarks of actual application workloads across any cloud or cloud instance type. Once deployed, CliQr provides complete runtime management and optimization with policy automation and auto-scaling along with integrated governance for security, user and rights management and more
CliQr Cloud Security White Paper
Security concerns on the cloud have been persistent and have, in part, limited the cloud's fullest potential. While cloud providers offer a level of infrastructure security, data, and application security on the cloud is still left incomplete and ultimately remains the end user's responsibility to ensure the complete protection of their information on the cloud—that their data and application deployments are not accessible by third parties. Designed by security experts and validated by Global 2000 companies, CliQr uses proven security technologies to add a complete layer of security for cloud deployments. This means that data and applications can only be visible to the end user, and cannot be accessed by any other party including the cloud provider or CliQr.
CliQr CloudCenter Enterprise Edition
As enterprises begin to focus on moving applications and infrastructures to the cloud they can become overwhelmed with the amount of public, private, and hybrid cloud service options. With applications, the performance can run differently on each cloud and entire infrastructure migrations vary in cost – depending on the cloud provider. CliQr makes enterprise-class cloud computing efficient, secure, and manageable, while saving money and allowing applications/infrastructures to run at its full potential.
CliQr CloudCenter Vendor Edition
With the growth of cloud computing, Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), System Integrators (SIs), and Cloud Infrastructure Service Providers see the cloud as an efficient medium to commercially deliver their unique software solutions as a service to their end user customers. Offered as a SaaS or an on-premise installation, the CloudCenter Vendor Edition simplifies the process of migrating to the cloud as a means to expand addressable market—leading to increased revenues and improved gross margins. The platform provides vendors with all the benefits of the CliQr Enterprise Edition, along with the addition of customized branding options, user interface configurability, and a variety of features and management capabilities specifically designed for the commercial use of the cloud. Additional features include vendor branding; user interface configurability; customizable end-user billing, license management, and enforcement; a publishable app store/marketplace, and complete policy-based cloud governance.
CliQr Application Support Overview
CliQr provides packaged support that enables most common application types and architectures to run on clouds. CliQr provides easy on-boarding of applications using profiles—metadata models that describe different application types, including any interdependencies that the application might have on other services and any custom application configuration. CliQr support for applications on a cloud is limited only by the underlying cloud infrastructure relative to the application's hardware and operating system requirements. A CliQr application profile is not a set of VM images. Rather, it's a pure metadata model of a complex multicomponent application that is used by CliQr CloudCenter to orchestrate application provisioning and runtime management.
