Senior QA Engineer

CliQr Technologies is currently seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join our team in Santa Clara, CA.

We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer for testing our enterprise class CloudCenter manager and orchestrator cloud software. You will be responsible for writing, building and running test cases during each Dev-QA sprint cycle. You will also be working closely with our Product Management and Support teams in understanding customer requirements and building test cases accordingly.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in black box and/or white box testing.
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience with UI automation tools like Selenium Web Driver, Cucumber/Watir.
  • Experience with SQL or similar databases.
  • Experience writing and maintaining scripts (Shell, Perl, Ruby) for automation.
  • Self-starter and proficient in identifying the problem and reproducing it.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong team player.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize features and execute test on priority basis.
  • Take ownership and finish the task with minimal supervision.
  • Experience working in fast pace Sprint based (Agile) environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years testing web and software enterprise class applications.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience testing and automating REST APIs.
  • Prior Cloud experience.
  • Experience with Linux and Git version control.  

Front-end UI Engineer

CliQr Technologies is currently seeking a Front-end UI Engineer to join our team in Santa Clara, CA.

We are seeking a Front End UI Developer strong in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 to build highly responsive, data driven enterprise class UIs for our CloudCenter Manager component. The role combines both visual design and front-end coding in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript. You'll be responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing and maintaining web-based application interfaces. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Build efficient and reusable front-end interfaces.
  • Collaborate with other team members in a fast paced agile environment. 
  • Participate in design and code reviews.
  • Constantly improve and innovate to produce user friendly and modern user experience.
  • Identify and communicate best practices for front-end engineering.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Expert knowledge of JavaScript.
  • Expert knowledge of web technologies (HTML/CSS).
  • Ability to write high-performance, reusable code for UI components.
  • Aware of Object Oriented JavaScript Frameworks (Backbone, Angular, Ember).
  • Experience developing rich applications with HTML/CSS/JS.

Senior Sales Engineer

CliQr Technologies is currently seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join our team in Santa Clara, CA.

As a member of the Customer Technical Services team and reporting to the Director of Sales Engineering, you will be responsible for teaming with your Sales counterparts and articulating the technical features, value proposition and differentiators of CliQr's CloudCenter product suite. You will also be a key point of customer contact from a post-sales perspective, working to ensure our customers are successful with their deployments and receive exemplary customer service.

Primary Responsibilities:
Pre-Sales

  • Act as an integral member of the sales team, taking responsibility for closing business from a technical perspective. Play a key role in the qualification of opportunities, formulation of sales strategies and execution of technical tactics.
  • Conduct technical discovery sessions with prospects and customers.
  • Present and demonstrate the technical features, benefits and differentiators of CliQr's CloudCenter product suite via face-to-face customer interaction, webinars, trade shows, etc.
  • Design and deliver customer / prospect POC's.
  • Respond to technical RFP's and or RFI's.
  • Train and support CliQr's indirect channel partners.
  • Act as a product enhancement feedback loop with Product Mgmt. and Engineering.
  • Help with development of internal and customer facing documentation.

Post-Sales

  • Act as key point of customer contact and work directly with CliQr's Engineering team, to ensure CliQr's customers are successful with their deployments and receive exemplary customer service.
  • Triage and act as customer liaison to resolve product issues as needed.
  • Perform on-site support and product installations as required.
  • Provide customer training as needed.
  • Engage directly with customer on a routine basis to ensure customer success.

Desired Skills & Experience:
You should possess the following skills:

  • A minimum of five years experience selling into F1000 enterprises in a software consulting and/or sales engineering role. In particular, we are looking for experience with an enterprise class application portfolio such as SAP or Oracle and web applications.
  • Excellent writing and interpersonal communication / relationship skills.
  • Excellent sales / client-facing skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels in customer / prospect organization.
  • Ability to work effectively and manage multiple sales cycles and post-sales support issues simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated with strong self-development ability.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, self-manage and prioritize activities.
  • Ability to travel domestically as needed (15-30%).
  • Previous start-up experience, a plus.

Technical:

  • Hands-on experience with two of the following databases: Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL.
  • Knowledge of multi-tier web architectures including specific knowledge of .Net, LAMP Stack, J2EE derivatives, etc.
  • Windows & Linux O/S experience.
  • Hands-on expertise in one or more scripting languages (Shell, Perl, Python).
  • Experience with one or more enterprise packages. Oracle/SAP a plus.
  • Experience with distributed computing.
  • Understanding of PaaS concepts.
  • Analysis and design skills of moderate complexity.
  • Additional Pluses
    • Previous Amazon Web Services/OpenStack or other cloud vendor experience.
    • Understanding of networking /systems administration.

  • Ability to work effectively and manage multiple sales cycles and post-sales support issues simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated with strong self-development ability.
  • Ability to self-manage and prioritize activities .
  • Ability to travel domestically as needed (10-25%).
  • Previous start-up experience, a plus.

Technical:

  • Windows & Linux O/S experience.
  • Hands-on expertise in one or more scripting languages (Shell, Perl, Python).
  • Understanding of networking /systems administration
  • Analysis and design skills of moderate complexity.
  • Additional Pluses
