  1. Put a Platform in Your DevOps Toolchain

CloudCenter is a powerful addition to an integrated and automated DevOps toolchain. Register for our webcast on July 9 to find out how CloudCenter can boost productivity, and accelerate and simplify continuous delivery for developers, operations, and DevOps engineers.

A Continuous Delivery pipeline uses a mostly automated software toolchain that takes each code change and then builds it, tests it, and deploys it. But with multiple users deploying multiple builds and environments across multiple datacenters or clouds, it can get complicated.

If you are just starting your DevOps journey, or have an integrated, automated, cross-cloud delivery pipeline, CliQr CloudCenter can help. Join us as we demonstrate the foundational role CliQr CloudCenter plays in an integrated toolchain. Register now.

CloudCenter is an application-defined cloud management platform with model once, migrate and manage anywhere technology. IT is not a PaaS solution. It is an enterprise-class management and orchestration solution that works across boundaries of applications, clouds and users.

In a DevOps context, you get automated build and environment deployment to any datacenter or cloud environment, either on demand or as part of an API driven toolchain. The speed and repeatability of build and environment deployment is a great productivity enhancer for developers. And it gives operations powerful run-time management features that scale. It can also make life easy for DevOps engineers and admins who are tasked with bringing it all together.

    Here’s what we’ll cover:

    • How to “model once, and deploy anywhere” without modifying deployment scripts or refactoring code
    • Common integration patterns with a wide range of DevOps tools
    • A wide range of features that make life easier for Devs, Ops, and DevOps engineers and cloud admins

We will also host a live demo that highlights key features for developers, operations, as well as DevOps engineers and cloud admins.

We look forward to you joining us on July 9th, 2015 at 10:00 AM PTRegister here.

Here’s who can benefit from this webcast and CliQr technology:

For Developers – CloudCenter boosts productivity as developers provision fully configured application stacks to any environment on demand. They don’t have to manually install and configure environments, or understand the nuances of each underlying cloud environment. CloudCenter drastically reduces environment related uncertainty and debugging.

For IT Operations – CloudCenter delivers operational efficiency as well as visibility and control with horizontal scaling of simple or complex application stacks. It also simplifies upgrade of environments to match changes in pre-production stages.

For DevOps Engineers and Cloud Admins – CloudCenter plays a foundational role in build and deploy work streams, by automating the deployment of builds and environments at multiple steps in a continuous delivery flow, across multiple datacenter and cloud environments.  Simple governance rules and policies support on demand or automated deployment, with centralized cost, security, and compliance controls.

  2. DevOps Webcast with Gene Kim – June 11th

I’m excited to co-host a webcast with Gene Kim, best selling author and DevOps provocateur. Gene will share what he as learned about successful enterprise IT DevOps programs, and we’ll present three CliQr design patterns that are pre-requisites for cross-cloud continuous delivery pipeline automation. Interested? Register today.

    You want what? When?

When I first met Gene 10+ years ago, he was CTO of Tripwire and relentlessly curious about what drove top levels of operational performance in IT.

In his words, “I started keeping a list of people called “Gene’s list of people with great Kung Fu.”  These were the people who led IT organizations that talked, acted and worked differently than everyone else. But most importantly, those IT organizations all had phenomenally better performance than the typical IT organization.”

Gene’s early IT operations research led to him publish the Visible Ops Handbook in 2005, which has since sold over 300,000 copies, and is still held up at DevOps conferences as a “must read” reference for how to run an efficient and effective IT shop. He asked me to help study top performing IT organizations, and for 7 years I ran the IT Process Institute and worked with Gene as we studied IT controls, change config and release practices, and IT business strategic alignment, as well as virtualization and private cloud topics.

Fast forward – now Gene is a widely recognized DevOps agitator. He is the driving force behind the popular State of DevOps Report carrying forward his passion for empirical research. He started the IT Revolution Press and self published the seminal work, The Phoenix Project, with his original Visible Ops Handbook co-authors. He is now working on the DevOps Cookbook with a “Who’s who” group of DevOps luminaries. Last year he hosted the first DevOps Enterprise Summit, which was a blockbuster success. Gene – when do you sleep?

Why Join the CliQr Webcast with Gene?

It goes without saying, Gene has his finger on the pulse of the industry, and he is keenly focused on those industry leaders that have demonstrated DevOps success.

    Attend this webcast to learn:

    • What’s possible? – Measurable results that are possible at organizations that have deployed tools, process, and cultural transformation that enable DevOps work streams.
    • What works? – The critical success factors that make top performance possible as identified by empirical study of thousands if IT organizations.
    • Where to focus? – The top challenges IT organizations face as they pursue DevOps programs.

    CliQr DevOps Design Patterns

At risk of a one-size-fits-all prescription, I’ll paint a picture of Enterprise IT DevOps Nirvana – with process and tools that have been integrated, and an automated pipeline across datacenter and cloud environments.

I’ll also highlight three foundational building blocks that allow any IT organization to make critical steps toward DevOps Nirvana while using CliQr CloudCenter.

    1. Automated infrastructure and application stack provisioning
    2. Integrated tool chain with stack provisioning via API
    3. Cross-cloud lifecycle with Dev, test, production in different environments.

CliQr’s “Model once, migrate and manage anywhere” technology provides a unique solution that delivers DevOps capabilities for organizations at any stage of the DevOps journey.
